A Lifelong Memory For Our Troops

About the Indy Racing Experience: Efforts are also being made to include the Indy Racing Experience two-seater race car for at least a portion of the ten-day tour. “I love the idea of running our cars at bases like Balad or Baghdad,” said Scott Jasek, a founding partner of Indy Racing Experience. “These cars can create a lifelong memory for the troops as well as a welcome temporary diversion from their day-to-day duties in a war zone.” Jasek is anticipated to join the tour along with partners Joe Kennedy and Jeff Sinden. Founded in 2001, the Indy Racing Experience provides fans the ultimate opportunity of a lifetime by experiencing the high speeds of IndyCar racing with our driving and 2-seater programs. The Indy Racing Experience Two-Seat Ride allows the passenger to experience speeds and g-forces previously available to only a handful of elite drivers. The purpose-built Dallara chassis allows a passenger to sit behind the driver, but in every other way, this is a true IndyCar Series car. The car is complete with an authentic racing power plant that can reach up to 180 miles per hour. While casually talking one afternoon in a small garage on Gasoline Alley in Indianapolis, Scott Jasek, Joe Kennedy and Jeff Sinden imagined stretching out a regular IndyCar Series car to allow for a passenger to sit behind the driver and truly experience the speed and pressure that comes with IndyCar racing. Nearly a decade later, the Indy Racing Experience has given more than 12,000 rides to celebrities, media, race fans and car enthusiasts.
